In the app
- Open Profile.
- Open Settings.
- Go to Privacy and data.
- Select Delete my Tynavel account.
- Complete the identity verification requested by the app.
- Confirm permanent deletion.
Tynavel first deletes the profile picture and private Bike Manager documents linked to the account, then deletes the server account and clears local app-managed data on that device.
If you cannot access the app
You do not need to reinstall Tynavel. Where possible, send a deletion request from the email address linked to your account:
State that you would like your Tynavel account to be permanently deleted. Appropriate identity verification may be requested to protect the account.
Never send your password by email.
Data affected
Depending on the features used, deletion includes:
- the account, profile details and profile image if any;
- synchronized rides and related GPS points;
- account-related progress, challenges, and points wallet data;
- synchronized preferences;
- notification identifiers associated with the account, if any;
- synchronized Bike Manager data, including bikes, ride assignments, manual rides, parts, maintenance and expenses;
- private Bike Manager documents stored in cloud space associated with the account.
Exceptional retention
Strictly necessary information may be retained for as long as required by a legal obligation, to establish or defend legal rights, or for security and abuse prevention. Such information is not retained to continue using the deleted account.
Data stored only on a device
A server cannot remotely erase information held solely on an offline device or on a device to which Tynavel no longer has access. In the app, Delete my local data removes locally stored data without deleting the account. Uninstalling the app also removes its local data according to operating-system behavior.
